The Housatonic Community College Art and Theater programs present a live concert featuring the music of Warren Zevon. This event celebrates the diversity of his music and unique songwriting that established him as a creative force. The show falls one day before the 10-year anniversary of the passing of Warren Zevon. His library of music spans four decades and songs like Werewolves of London, Lawyers Guns and Money, and Poor Poor Pitiful Me are among his best known work. The show features seven talented local musicians including two students from Housatonic Community College (Caitlin Kalafus and Martin Jose), and one alum (Drew Pinto), who is studying music at SUNY Purchase. Two professors from the college (John Favret and Victor Hogg) will be performing along with two additional professional musicians, David Childs and Joe Meo. An event not to be missed.
Housatonic Community College is located at 900 Lafayette Blvd. in downtown Bridgeport, less than 150 yards off I-95 (Exit 27) and Rte 8 (Exit 1), a block from the arena at Harbor Yard. Free parking is available in the HCC garage.
