Name: Lazy Boy IPA
Brewery: Lazy Boy Brewing
Location: Everett, WA
Taste: Hop bitterness up front with malt in the back. A mild, spicy, peppery flavor lingers on the palate with a creamy finish. Comes off as more of a Pale Ale at first, but the bitterness does creep in as the glass empties and makes itself known that this is an IPA. Flavors are of wet grass, citrus, and light fruitiness over biscuit malt.
What makes it special: A Northwest style IPA utilizing locally grown hops with plenty of malt backbone to give a smooth and pleasant finish.
