Healthier U is pleased to announce that Stony Brook University will once again take part in the Marcum Workplace Challenge, a 3.5 mile run/walk that will take place at Jones Beach State Park. To register for the Challenge, please visit the Marcum Workplace Challenge registration page.Participants will receive food, water, and a Healthier U shirt if they register by Friday, July 20.To make it easier to participate, bus transportation will be available for the first 40 employees who register. A bus will pick up employees at 4:15 pm at the Administration Loop and in front of the Hospital at 4:30 pm. Individuals must register for the event first and then e-mail HealthierU@stonybrook.edu to reserve a space on the bus. The Harry Chapin Food Bank will be accepting donations at the event. Any team member who donates non-perishable food items, household goods, personal care items, or school supplies will be entered into a raffle to win a free iPad!
