A New York favorite, Alex has brought his explosive show across NY and Long Island, including multiple performances on The Island @IMAC in Huntington. Nephew of trumpeter Donald Byrd, Alex attended the Paris Conservatory of Music for two years, then moved to the U.S. and went to the Berklee School of Music. After finishing at Berklee, Alex moved to New York, where he spent four years working as a session musician in New York, backing urban and jazz performers such as Patti Austin, Freddie Jackson and James Ingram. Alex released his debut album, Love Season, in 1989. Head Over Heels. Critically acclaimed classic release "107 Degrees in the Shade" "Southern Living" "Free" and "Soul Purpose" were all critically acclaimed. He has won two Soul Train Music Awards. His CD "Going Home" is available now. KENNY HARRIS is a native Long Islander whose friendly presence and amazing bass talents make for an exciting performance whenever he's on the set. Known as one of the East Coast's Top Bass Players, Kenny performs with his own band, as well as Matt Marshak, Shilts, Nick Colionne, Four 80 East, and many others.
