Our Nana dedicated her life to her family and when her husband fell ill to Alzheimer s disease she did all she could to keep his life normal.He passed away in 2000 and she continued to volunteer at the Veteran s Hospital where he had been living.We lost her suddenly in December 2007. We remembered one phrase that she repeated to us, urging us that we could do anything: Can t means won t .This run/walk is in her memory and to raise funds for the L.I. Alzheimer s Foundation & P.A.W.S.
