It all began when two former band mates had a conversation about what genre of music they wanted to play. Dan Edwards and former bassist (of The Drive) made a decision based on their love of Alternative Pop-Rock music. They went through high school listening to bands like; All Time Low, Cartel, Green Day, Forever The Sickest Kids, We The Kings, The Plain White T’s, and many other bands of this style. They knew this was the type of music they wanted to play but they wanted to stand out. In April of 2010 The Drive recruited a female vocalist from the nearby town of Red Hook to give a shot at the band. After the audition they saw the potential and knew what could happen, so they selected Alix Dubernard to front the band on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. Dan Edwards, Alix Dubernard, and the former bassist quickly recruited a drummer and keyboard player to join them and after recording some home made demos, landed themselves a big opening slot with Wind-Up Records’ Cartel for their first show. LISTENHailing from New York, New York, Neighborhood Kids is a band looking to push the boundaries of today’s pop, rock, and electronica. The band has performed alongside Paradise Fears, Call Me Anything + more. With incorporated vibes from all three genres, they have found a unique sound that could just make them your next favorite band. Fronted by female vocalist Emily Herring and male guitarist/vocalist George Bosotina, they are unlike any other electronica-pop band you’ve ever heard. Their first single, “Heartbreakers” has a catchy beat provided by drummer, John Damiano, and bassist, Billy Houlihan; and a melody that will get you off your feet! LISTENStephen Gonza is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Milford, CT who is best known for being the Lead vocalist/frontman of Fighting Confession.  During a hiatus from FC, Stephen decided to focus on his solo career and has written several tunes which includes his Award winning hit single “Eyes Begin To Close” which can be heard at his performances. Keep an ear out for Stephen’s CD Release and Club Dates in 2012. Stephen is working with a new full band to push his music and it’s not just any ordinary band….it is 3 powerhouse members! As most SG fans know, during a hiatus from Fighting Confession, Stephen has been writing songs and performing them solo “Unplugged” at various clubs in the last 6 months to his following. At this very next show, he will be performing songs with his new full band project!  LISTENVery rarely does such a youthful, yet experienced, band emerge in the music scene, but not any other band is like New York’s Love In Motion. Emerging into the music world only a little over a month ago, the members of Love In Motion (Matt Weiss – Vocals, Dom Fazzari – Bass / Keytar / Vocals, David Levy – Drums / Vocals, and Tom Traficante – Guitar / Vocals) have united with one goal in mind: creating music everyone can fall in love with. Due to relentless promoting efforts and constant contact with fans, Love In Motion has emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Obtaining over 1,400 likes on their Facebook page and nearly 8,000 views on their debut music video for their single, “Summer Kind of Love,” Love In Motion is just embarking on a journey, promising longevity.
