Freight Street Gallery will host its Third Annual Black Friday Handmade Market from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, November 23rd. This indoor, pop-up market will feature a handpicked group of artisans, designers and crafters all coming together to offer a unique holiday shopping experience. Visitors will shop to the sounds of live acoustic music and fuel up with cupcakes from Waterbury’s own Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes. Shoppers will find high quality, affordable items such as handcrafted jewelry, soaps, hand-blown glass, handmade books, wallets and messenger bags, pottery, sculpture, apparel, home decor, gifts for children and more. All items were created locally, by independent Connecticut artisans. This free event is the perfect place to purchase one-of-a-kind holiday gifts directly from the talented individuals who created them while supporting the local economy.
