The Seizure Jazz Ensemble was formed ten years ago by a group of UCONN Health Center faculty and administrators. They have played their swinging jazz rhythms throughout Connecticut, entertaining audiences at private functions, clubs, festivals, universities and the museum. They utilize a mix of instrumental jazz, vocal jazz and pop vocal styles to create their unique identity. Their first instrumental album Grand Mal has been favorably reviewed, and they are currently recording their second vocal album. The group is composed of Les Bernstein (acoustic bass), Mike Lehouillier (drums), Lenny Paplauskas (saxophone), Ken Price (guitar), Bev St. Onge (vocals), and Tony Voytovich (alto saxophone).  Bar 2421 of the Hawthorne Inn in Berlin, Connecticut is a classy and stylish restaurant that features beef and seafood dishes. Their modern food preparations will offer decadent options of the highest quality for the evening. $10 for Museum members/ $15 for nonmembers
