The children sent back pictures they had drawn with the art supplies to their friends at All Soul's Church as an expression of thanks for the gift. The pictures are bright and cheerful scenes of their everyday lives. They betray none of the post-World War II hardships the Japanese children were enduring, and are a testament to the power of cross-cultural exchange and goodwill. FREE!
