Pranayama are breathing techniques that are purifying, tension releasing as well as meditative and relaxing. Proper breathing removes numbness and constriction and helps us to feel what is really happening inside of us on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
An enjoyable and easy practice, Yoga Nidra is more accessible than most forms of yoga since all it requires is to lie down and listen.
The instructions are simple: with eyes closed, listen without trying too hard. There is nowhere to go and nothing to do.
