The Twentieth Season of the Keeney Cultural Series will begin on January 20th, 2013 with following performances on February 10th, and March 3rd.
On Sunday, January 20th, one of the world’s most popular a cappela groups, the Yale Whiffenpoofs, will perform in Keeney Hall. Founded in 1909, the “Whiffs” have performed all over the world and have been invited to sing at the White House, the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Carnegie Hall as well as many other venues.
On Sunday, February 10, “Dianne Mower in Song” will be joined by frequent musical partner Norman Johnson and an incredibly gifted ensemble as she sings her favorites from the “American Songbook.”
On Sunday, March 3rd, Paul Bisaccia mixes it up! His piano virtuosity, covering classical to great American popular music like Gershwin is in demand everywhere including tours abroad on four continents. All concerts will be at 4pm and take place at Keeney Memorial Cultural Center 200 Main Street Wethersfield CT.
The society is offering a series subscription for the three concerts for $52.00 for members, $60 for non-members. A single concert will be $20.00 for members, $22.00 for non-members.
