Mark Heinz, her husband, was hired as a Research Associate in the Physics department at Yale University. So she moved her Manhattanite vocal studio to Hamden, CT.Students, from ages 5 and up came every week to the studio not only to take vocal lessons, but also to socialize, make friends, create musical collaborations ( Styll Remains: Dean Correia & Walter Lesco), prepare for recordings (Audrey Campbell, www.audreycampbellmusic.com), gain confidence and have a good time. Ariane did not confine in her vocal coach role and loved organizing regular concerts, either in her backyard in the Summer, at the Neighborhood Music School (New Haven), at the Symphony Space in New York City in December, and other local venues during the rest of the year. The students (like Natascia Simone, Lauren Larkin, Alycia Norberg, Scott Irribarra etc.) had also the chance to record their original songs at Dale Long HomeStyle Records Studio (Hamden). In April 2010 the very young and the professional performers gathered for a last concert at the Space, and sadly said goodbye to years of music with Ariane. Her family and herself were leaving for Switzerland, their home country. Ariane never lost touch with her friends and students from Hamden. Collaborating with Dale Long on some Holiday songs, teaching Scott Irribarra, Cara Motowildo and Audrey Campbell through skype; Lauren Guadagnini, studying a semester in Europe, visited Ariane in Switzerland in December 2010; she stayed connected.Audrey Campbell, Hamden High Senior student, came to Switzerland in October 2011, where Ariane prepared a 8 shows Tour for her. Audrey’s Mom Marcia Petrucelli, Audrey and Ariane toured together. It was an amazing experience and the swiss crowd loved the young and talented singer-songwriter from Hamden. In Switzerland, Ariane quickly entered the music scene and has the joy to work with performers like Bastian Baker (www.bastianbaker.com) who in 2012: won Best new Artist at the Swiss Music Award, became twice platinum, made his NYC debut at the Living Room this past October and played more than 100 shows, most of them being sold out.On January 27th, Mark, Ariane and their two daughters (Mathilda & Felicity) are coming back to Hamden and reunite the friends, the singers and the bands for one night of good music at The Space (http://thespace.tk/).Programm:Sonia AgliAudrey CampbellStyll Remains (Dean Correia & Walter Lesco)Scott IrribarraLost and Found (Dale & Cindy Long)Lauren GuadagniniJoe Flying Solosinging classes: www.singingcoach.chconcerts: www.arianestudio.chAudrey Campbell, singer songwriter from Hamden, plays with her fresh bluesy voice. Her songs are sometimes deep sometimes light, always emotional. Audrey Campbell released her album on Tuesday, February 15th 2011, continuing to build upon her burgeoning music career. Audrey attends Hamden High School, is excited that the release will allow a wider audience to enjoy her musical talents. She toured Switzerland in October 2011 and gained a great fanbase. LISTENStyll Remains was started in New Haven, CT in 2007 when Dean Correia and Walter Lesco met through their mutual voice coach, Ariane Leanza Heinz. During individual performances at the same venue, Dean recognized Walter’s incredible guitar skills, and Walter admired Dean’s soulful singing style. Both needing each other’s talents to complete their song writing and performing endeavors, they decided to bring their talents and life experience together to create Styll Remains music. Three years later, they have written numerous songs and performed them in a two-man, acoustic style from local New Haven coffee shops to New York City theatres. The passion and pain from the past and present of their own lives can be heard in Styll Remains every song, but written in a mass appeal style that has proven to connect with people from all different walks of life. LISTENHamden musicians Dale & Cindy Long formed “Lost & Found” as an incubator for collaboration with local musicians highlighting Dale’s original compositions and reinterpretations of classic tunes. “I enjoy exploring the twists and turns encountered in life through my songwriting, and think that our music resonates with a lot of folks,” explains Dale. Their country-folk style, flavored with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmony vocals, creates an upbeat, yet intimate listening experience. For tonight’s show, they are accompanied by Hamden guitarist George Manukas.
