"Home of the Brave: When Southbury Said No to the Nazis"The documentary covers the events of 1937 when the people of Southbury, CT stood up against the American Nazi movement who wanted to establish a training camp in Southbury. It has been created by award winning filmmaker Scott Sniffen under the auspices of the Southbury Historical Society working in close collaboration with the Southbury Clergy, Town of Southbury, community organizations and local businesses. How one small American town in 1937 recognized hate and evil and said no to a regime well before it would become responsible for one of the most horrific genocides perpetrated on the human race.
