with Maggie Rueda 1.5 CEU hours. Vinyasa yoga is an active, flowing style yoga class proven to improve strength, cardiovascular health, and flexibility. Students will learn the basics of yoga in a fun and supportive environment. Class includes instruction of postures to build strength, stamina, flexibility and balance. Without breaking the natural flow from pose to pose, the focus is on alignment and breath, and relaxation techniques are included. This class is appropriate for all levels. Students are given options in each pose so that you feel challenged, yet supported, safe, and successful. Maggie Knoedler Rueda, E-RYT 500, is a yoga instructor, Reiki Master and personal trainer. Her vinyasa style classes are inspired by Ashtanga and Iyengar style yoga; postures flow with the breath to build heat in the body and then hold postures with a focus on alignment and the multiple dimensions of the body. Maggie is a compassionate and nurturing teacher who creates intelligently sequenced flowing classes that are challenging, fun, engaging, safe and spiritual. She completed a 200-hour teacher training by studying Embody yoga with Patty Townsend, and she completed a 500-hour teacher training with Sue Neufeld and Kathryn Templeton, teachers of Rod Stryker’s ParaYoga®. She is currently continuing her studies at the Himalayan Institute in Honesdale, PA in the lineage of Swami Rama of the Himalayas.
