Just in time for the cherry blossoms, we'll be replacing one of our usual wine tastings with a sampling and discussion of Nihonshu (aka, Japanese Sake) from everyday honjozo styles to ultra premium fragrant daiginjo and everything else in between. For anyone that's ever thought that "sake" was inseparable from the word "bomb", you will be moved to tears by the error of your ways and the shame of wasting of this precious nectar of the rice gods. Although, we'll probably be doing sake bombs too for anyone that wants to sprint downstairs for a pint of ale in between pours. Finally, we'll be looking at various food and cheese pairings for sake to prove how versatile it can be at the table, thus, rounding out your vast knowledge of dessert, beer, champagne and wine pairings.
