Kathy Foley and Wesleyan University Professor of Music Sumarsam will talk about performance technique and musical accompaniment of wayang golek and wayang kulit. The lecture demonstration will be followed by a wayang and gamelan rehearsal by the Wesleyan Gamelan Ensemble, under the direction of Artist in Residence I.M. Harjito.
