Come help spread your love of reading by joining Scranton’s Friends of the Library. Scranton Library is looking for new community members to help provide book discussions, programs for children, bus trips, and other activities that keep the Library a key pillar of the community. Change the world one home at a time
Madison Cares along with its internationally known partner Habit for Humanity are looking for volunteers to help eliminate poverty housing by providing financial support or volunteer labor. If you would like to volunteer please contact Nancy Leckerling at (203) 245-7481 or email signmeup@madisoncares.org. Community volunteers must be at least 16 years old and will be needed every Saturday, plus the 4th Sunday of each month. Madison Land Conservation Trust, Inc. works to protect more than 1600 acres of fragile wildlife habitat. 1600 acres is a lot of woodlands and wetlands to be looked after so Madison Land Conservation Trust needs your help! By becoming a member or volunteering you can help preserve the town’s most valuable resource.
