Neighbor Says Wyoming Killer Was Upset With Dad

A man who police say killed his father, a woman and himself in Wyoming on Friday told a neighbor in Connecticut weeks before the killings that he believed his father gave him Asperger's syndrome and said his dad should be "castrated" to prevent him from having more children. Neighbor Matt DiPinto of Vernon, Conn., told reporters on Saturday that Christopher Krumm made the comments while giving him a ride home a few weeks ago. Police in Casper, Wyo., say Krumm shot an arrow into the head of his father, James Krumm, while his father was teaching computer science in a classroom at Casper College, after having fatally stabbed his father's live-in girlfriend at their home. They say Christopher Krumm then fatally stabbed himself and his father.

One Of US Richest Finds Himself On The NY Hot Seat

Steven A. Cohen may not be a household name, but he's made a name for himself. In finance, fine art and sports, he's had an extraordinary run of success and has amassed assets worth more than $8 billion. Lately, Cohen has been linked to what federal prosecutors in New York call history's most lucrative insider trading scheme, earning a quarter of a billion dollars. Cohen is not charged but authorities don't dispute characterizations of him as the "Hedge Fund Owner" repeatedly referenced in a criminal complaint against a former employee. The Securities and Exchange Commission has notified his firm, SAC Capital that it is considering action. Cohen reportedly assured investors his firm played by the rules. A spokesman says SAC and Cohen are cooperating and confident they acted appropriately.

They say she was being treated for minor injuries after she fell while walking. State police say it's not clear what she was doing at the university. White went missing after she was last seen at about 1 p.m. Saturday driving a 1995 Buick Century near Mountain View Road in Simsbury.

Deadline Looms For Post Connecticut Election Audits

Local election officials are facing a deadline to complete their audits of Connecticut's presidential election results. Secretary of the State Denise Merrill recently selected 75 voting precincts at random from a pool of 747 precincts that used optical scan machines on Nov. 6 for the review. The communities have until Monday to complete the audits. State law requires a hand audit of 10 percent of all polling places where optical scan machines were used in elections and primaries. Merrill announced last week that 74 percent of registered voters turned out to vote in the election, slightly lower than the 2008 turnout when 78 percent of registered voters cast ballots. She said no major issues were reported on Election Day, other than long lines in some polling places.
