11/22/10 Today's Guests:

  • Brian Averna -Brian Averna, head chef at Sara Lee, was on with Chaz and AJ, sharing his exclusive Thanksgiving German stuffing recipe! And without further delay, here it is: onion diced ( 1 and a half cups); celery, diced ( 1 cup); bacon, diced (1 lb.); white bread, cut in cubes (2 loaves); 3 eggs; chicken broth (2 small cans); raisins (1 and a half cups); apples, peeled, diced (4 apples); salt and pepper (half teaspoon); 1 cup of chopped walnuts. Then...1)Saute' onion, celeary and bacon in a sayte' pan for 5-6 minutes. 2)Combine with cubed bread, eggs, chicken broth, raisins, apples, salt and pepper. 3) Mix well and drizzle with melted butter. Place in casserole dish and cover with foil. 4)Bake in 325 degree oven for 50 minutes in casserole dish.
