This Day in Music History...

1970: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young release Deja Vu, the album which includes "Woodstock," "Teach Your Children" and "Our House."

1970: At the 12th annual Grammy Awards, The Fifth Dimension wins Record of the Year for "Aquarius/Let the Sun Shine In." Blood, Sweat & Tears takes Best Album, and Crosby, Stills & Nash are named Best New Artist. Joe South's "Games People Play" becomes Song of the Year.

1972: Neil Young's Harvest album, which featues "Heart of Gold," is #1 on Billboard's album chart.

1997: Paul McCartney is knighted by Queen Elizabeth.

2000: KISS kick off their multi-year Farewell Tour in Phoenix, Arizona.

2007: Heaven and Hell, better known as the Ronnie James Dio-era version of Black Sabbath, kick off a tour in Vancouver, Canada.
