Stuff You Should Know for 4-19-12

By Phil

Dick Clark died yesterday at the age of 82, after suffering a major heart attack. He is best known for his role on American Bandstand, but is also responsible for New Year's Rockin' Eve, The American Music Awards and $10,000 Pyramid. Dick Clark Productions also produces The Golden Globes, The Academy of Country Music Awards and the Family Television Awards. Danny Bonaduce's father gave Dick Clark his first job on the radio in Philadelphia, and Danny had this to say about the man, "You may remember Dick Clark as the world's oldest living teenager. I'll remember him as the man who beat me in a pushup contest - he was 74."

Ted Nugent will be meeting with the Secret Service today, to discuss his recent remarks about President Obama. Wonder how many jokes about Colombian hookers he works into the discussion?

Really, Glendale, California? Really?

There is a lot to love about the spring time. Longer days, more sunshine, warmer weather, happier people, fishing season opens, baseball season starts.. and female sex drive is at it highest.
