Stuff You Should Know for 4-23-12

By Phil

Ted Nugent might've been cleared by the Secret Service, but he's still losing gigs because of his remarks about the President. Fort Knox in Kentucky decided to axe The Nuge from playing there in July.  The other two-thirds of the Midwest Rock N Roll Express Tour, REO Speedwagon and Styx, will play as scheduled.

The Hunger Games slipped to #3 at the box office this weekend, with just $14.5 million made. It's the first time in 5 weeks it didn't take the top spot.  It has now earned $357 million domestically, making it the 19th highest grossing movie ever. So now that the hoopla has died down about that, we've got Super Hero movies all summer long! The Avengers is up first, and so far, early reviews have been very positive.

Some guy named 'World Peace' threw a vicious elbow to an opponent's head during an NBA game.

The Red Sox celebrated the 100th anniversary at Fenway Park in typical Red Sox fashion over the weekend.
