Throwback Concert: KISS at Palace Theater Waterbury 1975

Throwback Concert: KISS at Palace Theater Waterbury 1975

99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1975!

That year PLR welcomed KISS to Waterbury’s Palace Theater. KISS hit the road in ’75 to support their first live album “Alive!” which featured the hit song Rock and Roll All Nite. KISS had released three studio albums prior to this, but it was this live album that put KISS on the map. By 1976 KISS had move out playing theaters to headlining stadiums across the United States.

This show at The Palace in Waterbury was the very first time KISS played in Connecticut!
