Mobster John Gotti, who has been ill with head and neck cancer, has been transferred to a local hospital from a prison medical facility, a local television station reported August 9, 2001. Citing an unnamed source, KYTV in Springfield reported Gotti, 60, was gravely ill and had been moved to St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield from the federal prison hospital there. He is shown arriving at New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan on Feb. 9, 1990. JP

Stamford Firefighter Chad Titus was on to talk about his trip to the White House, to receive the Medal of Valor. Chad and two other firefighters, John Colandro and Michael Rosero, rescued people from a truck that fell through the ice in 2021. (0:00) 

Dennis Mannion talked about his time in Vietnam, including participation in one of the bloodiest battles of that war. Dennis was candid about the reception he and other veterans were treated to upon returning from war, and how the community can help make sure veterans are remembered for their sacrifices at some upcoming events. Dumb Ass News – The hometown of Johnny Cash is in the news, because a water tower is leaking from a bullet hole. The shot wound up hitting the crotch area of a Johnny Cash outline, making it look like he’s urinating all over. (34:32)
