Eagle Scout Project Donations

To whom it may concern,

My name is Joseph Ciambriello and I am a scout from Troop 25 working towards my
Eagle Scout rank. After great deliberation on several projects in mind, I decided to
assist the first responders in Shelton, CT. During this pandemic, our first responders
have been working tirelessly throughout these last several months risking their lives to
help others. In acknowledgment of their efforts, I sought to manifest my appreciation of
all of their hard work and dedication by providing them with daily essentials. I have
reached out to the Assistant Chief of Echo Hose Ambulance and proposed a list of
items that will compose care packages for his EMS first responders. He showed
extreme gratitude and appreciation towards moving forward with this project.
I am reaching out to you today for support and assistance in making this project
successful. I plan to assemble a minimum of 100 packages. Ideal contents for one
package may include (but are not limited to): handwritten notes/messages, lotion
(non-scented), snacks (chips, cookies, crackers, granola bars, etc.), gum, mints,
chapstick, snack-size candy, chocolate, $5 gift cards, hair ties/headbands/bobby pins,
individual hand sanitizers, protein bars, soda, water, predominantly medium and large
non-latex disposable gloves, theater box candy, individual pocket tissues, and wipes
(bleach/antimicrobial). I understand that PPE may be difficult to obtain, but I am
attempting to collect the following: eye protection (safety goggles/face shields),
disposable surgical caps, disposable foot covers, and disposable face masks/N-95
masks. All contributions to every package will be recognized with gratitude.
If you wish to donate, I have set up collection dates on 07/11/2020 and 07/18/2020 at
the United Methodist Church in Shelton from 11 am – 4 pm, and, on 07/11/2020 from
1:30 pm – 5:30 pm at the St. Margaret Mary Church grounds near the Sacred Heart
Parish Center building.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions by calling me at (203)
513-0747 or emailing me at joeyciamb@gmail.com . For reference, my Scoutmaster’s
name is Kenneth Miller, and his email is kenmiller@snet.net.
Thank you for your support in making this happen. Stay safe and healthy.

Best regards,

Joseph Ciambriello
