40 years ago this weekend AC/DC released its most popular album to date, ‘Back In Black.’ After the tragic death of singer Bon Scott in February 1980, AC/DC regrouped and hired Brian Johnson to be the new frontman of the band.
AC/DC was gaining worldwide popularity in 1979 with the release of ‘Highway To Hell,’ but the band exploded with ‘Back In Black’ and they’ve never looked back. Hit songs like Hells Bells, You Shook Me All Night Long, Shoot To Thrill and the title track, Back In Black, made AC/DC one of the biggest rock bands in the world.
Today we look back at AC/DC’s summer stadium tour in 2015.
