The folks from Baron Laboratories came in studio with the results of the studio’s coffee pot and microphones, Phil’s jungle of a beard, and Ruth’s petri dish of a water bottle. (8:27)

Single-day tickets are available for each of the Sound on Sound lineups, for just $99. Jimmy also addressed a story that was initiated by a caller about Meat Loaf, who left a show in such a rage that everyone was afraid of him. Jimmy knew immediately why, and explained his role in the abrupt exit. (8:14)
