PODCAST – Thursday, March 9: Bruce Springsteen Prep; IRLrosie’s Scam Defense; Jimmy Koplik

Tom Cantone from Mohegan Sun talked about all the preparation that has taken place for Bruce Springsteen’s show this weekend. Then, he surprised everyone by offering the last pair of tickets to a member of the Tribe. (0:00)

With the Bruce Springsteen ticket surprise, Chaz and AJ decided it would be best to help out an organization that specializes in helping local veterans. Laurie Hollander from Help Our Military Heroes was on the phone, explained how they operate, and bids starting coming in immediately for the Springsteen tickets. (16:06)

IRLrosie has become popular on YouTube for her excellent voice acting, which she has put to use tormenting scam callers. She was on with Chaz and AJ to demonstrate some of the voices at her disposal, including Siri. AJ proved once again that he and Siri are mortal enemies. (22:31)

Live Nation’s Jimmy Koplik was on with Chaz and AJ this morning to talk about all shows coming to Connecticut. There were some lingering questions about Sound on Sound (there may have been a pre-sale code that slipped out!) and Jimmy was a little surprised when a caller seemed to have the scoop on Boygenius coming to the state.
