PODCAST – Art Wiknik’s Hamburger Hill Story

Art Wiknik is a veteran of the Vietnam War, and survived the battle of Hamburger Hill. He shares the numerous close calls he had before the battle was “won,” including being set on fire, and why he does not like to be called a hero. Then, Tribe member Dan Garitta was on to share some stories about Connecticut veterans.

The Flubble Montage! It was weighted heavily by AJ this week, who was clearly anxious about going into the box this year. (8:58)

Boss Keith’s Top 5 was supposed to be about the most annoying things that happen during election week, but really became a post-event, on-air meeting about AJ in a Box and the bucket truck controversy. (13:44)

Thanks to The Tribe, we raised over $22,000 for the Chaz and AJ McDermott Chevrolet & Lexus Toy Drive as AJ lived in a box for 24 hours listening to Middle of the Road’s Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep non-stop. Plus each time we raised another $1,000 AJ went up in the K&J Tree Service Bucket Truck!

Live Nation’s Jimmy Koplik was on with Chaz and AJ this morning (really just Chaz, as AJ was on his way to get into the box) and got to hear the torture song for this year’s “AJ in a Box.” Jimmy also took calls from the Tribe about Aerosmith, Bob Seger, and gave information about “Friends Of Jimmy.” (12:30)

Tomorrow, AJ goes in the box for 24 hours to help raise money for this year’s Chaz and AJ Toy Drive. Today, AJ was complaining about a new part of the event that he’s uncomfortable with. Kyle at K & J Tree Service called in to help calm AJ down about the bucket truck, which will lift AJ 75 feet into the air for every $1,000 raised. (0:00)

Sarah Cody from News 8 was in studio with Chaz and AJ this morning, sharing stories about ping pong, Ozzy Osbourne, a naked man named Carlo, and the most interesting places she’s visited in Connecticut during her time as a reporter. (9:39)

PODCAST – Tuesday, November 8: Philadelphia Man Eats Entire Rotisserie Chicken Every Day For 40 Days; AJ Eats A Rotisserie Chicken By Himself

Chaz and AJ were completely fascinated by the Philadelphia Chicken Man. Every day, for 40 straight days, he ate an entire rotisserie chicken by himself. On the last day, he invited the city of Philadelphia to join him, and they did! (0:00)

AJ believed eating a rotisserie chicken by yourself is not so impressive, so he was immediately challenged on that. He started eating a chicken around 8:07 AM, then the Tribe started to call in all they knew about grocery store chickens. (14:36)

This morning’s Stunt or Stupid had AJ attempting the cinnamon challenge. Once again, he was unprepared having not properly researched the challenge, and was scrambling mere seconds before attempting this one to get everything he needed. (0:00)

News articles had reported some 1,800 gallons of fuel being dumped from an overturned tanker truck in Norfolk. Chaz and AJ had Jon Barbagallo, the town’s spokesperson on, only to learn the actual amount of dumped fuel was way, way, WAY higher than that original estimate. (6:07)

Dumb Ass News – A man set a Guinness World Record as the fastest hand clapper. Chaz and AJ couldn’t think of a more useless talent. (18:12)

The Tribe tried their best to Stump the Chumps with their rock lyrics, all Chaz and AJ had to do was identify the song or artist. (25:14)
