Comedian Mitch Stinson was in studio, and had a ton of stories about his time as an air-craft carrier aviator. He was in flight school right as Top Gun was first released, and everyone got a big lecture about “buzzing the tower.” (5:30)

SNL alum Jim Breuer tore a calf muscle on stage recently, but is still performing standup this weekend in Connecticut. He had a lot of thoughts about the infamous Oscars slap, and it went way, way deeper than “it was staged for ratings.” (28:58)

Ken Burns was on to talk about his latest, big production documentary “Benjamin Franklin.” He admits that he learned way more about the man than he expected to during the process, and only realized how truly remarkable he was to the founding of the United States when the project was completed. Movie critic Joe Meyers was on to talk about the movies of 2009. Was it a good year, or bad year for movies? (15:34)

The most expensive house in Connecticut is for sale, so Chaz and AJ turned to Jonathan Carbutti for some clarity on the high asking price. AJ, meanwhile, was in his glory imagining himself living in the home. (24:48)

PODCAST – Tuesday, April 5: The Gun Drummer; Waterbury Police Chief Talks About That Recent Car Chase; Topher Grace Calls In

Chaz was teasing his wife, Jennifer for being a tailgating driver. She called to defend herself, and shared a recent story about road rage. The Tribe called in some of their road rage incidents, including Danielle from East Haven who was clearly still embarrassed by her involvement. (0:00)

Nate “The Gun Drummer” has cornered the internet market on drumming with guns. He was on to explain how he found his talent, and how the response online has surprised him and surpassed his expectations. (7:14)

Waterbury Police Chief Fernando Spagnolo was on to talk about the recent car chase, that sent multiple officers to the hospital. Some bodycam footage of the suspect’s initial escape, ramming into an officer’s vehicle, was released and showed how violent and dangerous the chase was. (18:26)

Jimmy Rap was back with karaoke audio. Chaz and AJ are working on a title for the segment, but love the enthusiasm by karaoke singers, regardless of their talent level. (32:12)

Topher Grace from “That 70’s Show” was on to talk about his latest show, “Home Economics.” He still loves Connecticut, where he grew up, and had some great stories about shooting a movie here with Robert DeNiro. (38:49)

AJ found a challenge on TikTok he wanted to try, which included a harmonica and lots of pain. He volunteered for this! (0:00)

Jamie McDonald of Bear’s Smokehouse was in studio with Chaz and AJ, to recap his time helping Ukrainian refugees on the border of Poland. He was there with World Central Kitchen to help feed those in need, and fleeing for safety. (11:19)

After the USS Nimitz was mentioned while Jamie was in studio, Eric called in to talk about his time serving on the flight deck on the Nimitz during the Cold War. (19:15)

Jason Bonham called in this morning, to talk about coming to the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater in June with Sammy Hagar and The Circle, and remembering his good friend Taylor Hawkins. (29:48)
