Wayne from Hamden was on the phone as the third finalist to host the Chaz and AJ Lawncast next week. During his call, it became clear he was rooting for a previous finalist to wind up hosting. (13:53) 

Roger Susanin was in studio with Chaz and AJ, after spending the previous two days covering the heat wave with roofers. Vince Berry also did some reporting on the heat wave, asking food truck owners about the high temperatures on Long Wharf. (21:33) 

What goes into owning a raising a cow? Roger Susanin thinks it’s something he would like to do, despite some resistance at home. Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in advice and information about raising cattle. (35:33)

Chaz and AJ invited author Martin Popoff on this morning to talk about his book about Guns ‘N’ Roses. Martin and Chaz disagreed about the band’s role in the downfall of hair metal, and it all ended with a fail by Ruth, before she joined the show.
