Randy Beach has written a book about Toad’s Place, and was on with Chaz and AJ to reveal how the name was decided, the night the Rolling Stones played, and how Mike and Brian first met each other and ran the club. (0:00)

Attorney Norm Pattis was on the phone to talk about a case from Long Island, a girl has gone missing after a road trip with her boyfriend. He’s since lawyered up, and is not saying much about what he knows. (14:12)

A cat was caught by fans in Miami, after falling from the upper deck. It was a great moment, and a viral video, but there are some other details the couple wanted everyone to know. (28:55)

The Tribe was calling in the easiest jobs they could think of, and AJ was working overtime trying to think of scenarios that would make the job difficult. (34:51)

50 Years, 50 Albums 1988: Van Halen ‘OU812’

The year 1988; MTV at its peak; and songs you heard on the radio, you can see on TV…ah the Eighties. The three albums up for voting this week got plenty of both. Bon Jovi’s New Jersey, Poison’s Open up and Say Ahh and Van Halen’s OU812. The eighth studio album from Van Halen got the most votes and for good reason too, the album totally kicks ass! From the first track “Mine All Mine” to “Cabo Wabo” and “Finished what you Started”, the album really showed how well Sammy and Eddie worked together. The working title of the album was supposed to be “Bone”, which Alex hated. Sammy saw a delivery truck with OU812 on the plate they all thought it was funny. And the rest is history. Some say it was a response to David Lee Roth’s Eat ’em and Smile album.

Attorney John Haymond was on to talk about the 9/11 United Ride this weekend, and happened to mention today is his birthday, so he was incessantly serenaded by AJ. (30:03)
