Joe Meyers the movie critic was on to discuss the deluge of remakes, reboots and reunions surrounding TV shows. He’s already disappointed with the Friends reunion, and AJ got all excited while talking about Frasier. (17:40)

99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1975!

That year PLR presented The Allman Brothers Band at New Haven Coliseum. The Allman Brothers hit the road in ’75 to support their fifth studio album (and sixth overall) album “Win, Lose or Draw.” It was also the fifth straight year they came to New Haven. This show in ’75 would be their last show at the Coliseum until 1979.

Special guest Muddy Waters was also on the bill.

Dumb Ass News – A guy was ratted out by his neighbors, after they heard him fart on his front porch from across the street. His own video security system caught the whole ordeal, and the Tribe noticed the fart sound happened to sync up perfectly with a Van Halen song. (21:14)

99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1975!

That year PLR welcomed Fleetwood Mac to the University of Connecticut’s Jorgensen Center. Fleetwood Mac hit the road in ’75 to support their tenth album “Fleetwood Mac,” which featured the singles Rhiannon, Warm Ways, Over My Head and Say You Love Me. This was their first album with Lindsey Buckingham on guitars and Stevie Nicks on vocals.

Fleetwood Mac’s show at UConn occurred just five days after playing New Haven Coliseum and their fifth show in Connecticut in the year 1975!
