Dave from Riverview Bistro was on to talk about the limited reopening of restaurants yesterday, and how quarantine affected his overhead. (10:02)

Lieutenant LaPlante was on the phone with Chaz and AJ from the Masks for CT giveaway in Orange, then Joanne in Bridgeport thanked the show for the free giveaway, since she suffers from COPD and has been reusing the same mask for a month. (19:43)

Live Nation’s Jimmy Koplik was on to share a lot of announcements from yesterday, which included a number of cancellations and rescheduled concerts. Plus, details on how to get refunds on any tickets you have purchased through Live Nation. (27:19)

Bob Stefanowski and Scot Haney called in from the Masks for CT giveaway in Orange, but neither of them would put on the AJ tank top. Also, President Trump talks about taking hydroxychloroquine, and a terrible Andrew Cuomo shows up. (43:14)

Comedian Paul Mecurio called in from NYC to talk about how strange and terrifying things were during the beginning of the pandemic, and how he’s most looking forward to arguing with people in public again. (57:14)

COVID-19 isn’t stopping The Rolling Stones. Though their summer stadium tour has been put on hold, The Stones are banging out new material, including their brand new single, “Living In A Ghost Town,” which you can listen to here.

Today we look back at The Stones “No Filter” 2019 Tour that came to Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts last summer.

About The Tour:

In 2019, The Rolling Stones announced its next leg of the “No Filter” Tour that would play 17-dates at stadiums across North America. Soon after the announcement, it was revealed that Mick Jagger would need to receive medical treatment to replace a valve in his heart. This forced The Stones to postponed the tour.

After a speedy recovery by Mick, The Stones announced the tour would resume on June 21, 2019 at Chicago’s Soldier Field. The show at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium, originally scheduled for June 8th, would happen on Sunday July 7, 2019 with special guest Gary Clark Jr. The sold out crowd of 50,000 people rocked out to a two-hour Stones show that featured 20 songs, including a song voted by the fans (She’s So Cold), a short acoustic set, two songs sung by Keith Richards and enough pyrotechnics to light up the Massachusetts sky.

Cromwell Mayor Enzo Faienza was on to talk about the town resisting the Governor’s orders to keep some businesses closed, then Kat was on from Pawcatuck to claim her hair salon is open today. (20:17)

Chaz and AJ played the audio of the viral video of a CT State Trooper that lost his temper after pulling over a driver that flipped him off. Brian Foley was on to explain why he the officer was taken off the road, and how the world is different now with everything being recorded. (50:17)

Last month Sully Erna announced Godsmack has cancelled all its 2020 tour plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

So what’s Sully doing now? Every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm, the Godsmack frontman broadcasts his very own YouTube show called “Hometown Sessions.” This bi-weekly show can be viewed at www.youtube.com/SullyErna.

While we wait for Godsmack to tour again, today we look back at when they played an acoustic show at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in 2004.

About The Tour:

In 2004 Godsmack spent its summer on tour with Metallica. By the time September rolled around, Godsmack focused its attention on headlining their very own acoustic tour in support of its EP entitled “The Other Side.” The EP was released in March 2004 and it included three brand new acoustic tracks plus a selection of previously released Godsmack songs that were re-recorded as acoustic versions.

The Godsmack acoustic tour kicked off on September 9, 2004 in Colorado Springs. Joining them on the tour was Dropbox frontman John Kosco and guitarist Lee Richards, who made guest appearances with Godsmack on the song “Touche.”

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton was on with Chaz and AJ to talk about his viral video, which was a satirical spin on “Tiger King” Joe Exotic’s music video. He did it all to raise money to feed people. (0:00)

As businesses begin reopening tomorrow, the Mansfield drive-in theater is prepared with a triple feature. Chaz and AJ asked Elena about the selections, how social distancing will work, and how you can still order snacks. (8:35)

Jessie the hair stylist is not comfortable opening up salons just yet, but is still upset with Governor Lamont’s decision to move the re-opening date. They’ve spent money to be ready to open, and how even the salons that don’t feel safe will have to open, or lose customers. (19:37)

Dino the barber is on the other side of the argument as Jessie, and wants to have his business open up tomorrow. Dino admitted that it feels impossible to bring new clients in with the restrictions that have been put in place for the reopening of salons. Then, Sarah from St. Vincent’s defended the governor’s decision, based on cases still coming into the hospital and asked everyone rushing to re-open to continue to be safe with social distancing and wearing masks. Pat called in his story about being stabbed in the lung during a Phil Lesh concert in Boston, after trying to stop a shop lifter. (38:16)

Comedian Will Noonan was on for his weekly check-in from Boston, and shared a story about getting busted smoking pot in the Boston Commons by a police officer, who turned out to be his father. (46:48)

Tuna from the Boardwalk Marina was on to talk about reopening tomorrow, social distancing between boat slips, and potentially came up with a new state slogan. (52:17)

Brian Glasser from J.P. MaGuire Associates was on to explain their sanitizing process, and why to be wary of other companies that only opened up recently. (58:10)

About The Tour:

The Who launched its “Quadrophenia and More” Tour on November 1, 2012 in Sunrise, Florida. The 11-month tour visited 50 cities across North America and Europe. The tour wrapped up in London in July 2013.

On the tour The Who played its sixth studio album and rock opera “Quadrophenia” in entirety plus an encore that featured a selection of their greatest hits. The capacity crowd at Mohegan Sun’s 10,000 seat arena rocked out for over two-hours with The Who’s founding members Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend plus current members guitarist Simon Townshend, drummer Zak Starkey and bassist Pino Palladino.

The show at Mohegan Sun was The Who’s last performance before their appearance at the “12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief” at New York City’s Madison Square Garden that also featured The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and more. Proceeds from the 12-12-12 Concert benefited the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
