Car: Ford Fairlane Club Coupe
Year: 1967
What makes it special: For the 1966 model year, the intermediate sized Fairlane model was given a make-over. It now resembled the full-sized Galaxie model with vertically stacked front headlights, which the Galaxie received for the previous year. An XL, GT, GTA ( A for automatic ) package debuted, as well as a convertible, sedans, hardtop and station wagon versions. The 1967 model was given very mild changes in appearance.
What made it famous: The 289 small-block was the base V8 engine, while the 200 cu in inline-6 was the base for the economy minded. a 390 cu in in either 2- or 4-barrel at 275 or 320 bhp was optional. The 427 V8 was also available in either a single 4-barrel or dual quad, putting out 410 hp for the W-code and 425 hp for the R-code. The Ranchero returned for the Fairlane line in 1967.
Why I would want one: Had a 1966 Fairlane 500 hardtop as my first car. Bought it with the $100 cash I was supposed to buy my high school ring with. Rescued it from dissection by our high school auto shop.
Fun fact: The King Of Rock N Roll, Elvis Presley had a 1967 Ford Ranchero, which was one of his prized possessions.

Year: 1963
What makes it special: Beginning with the 1961 model, the Impala was now on GM’s B-platform. The 1963 Chevrolet Impala was given rectilinear styling with an engine-turned aluminum rear taillight panel.
What made it famous: The most popular powerplant’s for the 1963 Impala was the small-block 283 and 327 V8’s. The Impala also featured a new coved instrument panel with indicator lights for engine conditions. An option for the 1963 Impala was an in-dash factory tachometer situated above the steering wheel, but was rarely ordered.
Why I would want one: I love the 1963 Impala. My favorite year, with crisp lines, low stance and overall stunning looks.
