Run in the annual Christopher Martin’s Christmas Run For Children on Sunday December 7th in Downtown New Haven.

Help make Christmas a little brighter for needy children in the New Haven area by giving them a toy from friends and neighbors they have never met. Over the years, our race has given over 60,000 toys to local children.

The race starts and ends at Christopher Martin Restaurant, 860 State Street in New Haven.

Schedule

  • 10:30am: 5K Start
  • 10:45am: Post-Race Party – Best in CT!
  • 11:30am: Awards Ceremony

The flat 5K course runs from Christopher Martin’s Restaurant on Upper State Street to Downtown New Haven, Wooster Square neighborhood, and back.

Parking is available on State Street, East Street, Jocelyn Square Park, and off-street parking in surrounding neighborhoods including East Street.

Craig Inciardi is one of the founding curators of the Rock Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and published a book about getting the whole thing started. Craig was on with Chaz and AJ this morning to share stories of finding the original hand-written lyrics for “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix, the strange way Ozzy Osbourne exited a meeting, and how he came to acquire John Lennon’s glasses.

Chaz and AJ’s Bad Idea Island took down the infamous “incest commercial” from Folgers. Chaz was not immediately on board with the banishment, until the parody “extended cut” painted a clearer picture. (0:00) 

Joe Rupp was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about his viral, life-sized Josh Allen mailbox. Joe admitted his wife was not immediately on board with the plan, but relented after Josh won the MVP last season. (6:49) 

Alec Baldwin was recently in a car accident after smashing into a big, fat tree. Chaz and AJ played the audio from his social media post about the incident, which somehow circled back to his wife, Hilaria. (14:26)
