Friday, June 13: Lone Plane Crash Survivor, Scot Haney’s Karaoke Cheese, and 100 Years of Pepe’s Pizza

Comedian Dom Fig was in this morning with Chaz and AJ, and everyone was talking about the sole survivor of the Air India plane crash. The Tribe called in to talk about their close calls and some miraculous survival stories. (0:00)

AJ’s Top 10 was about the things that make dads angry. The Tribe had a hard time getting guesses to land early, but caught up in the second half. (14:05)

More calls from the tribe about their close calls with death, after a lone survivor was identified from the Air India plane crash. A man who survived a fall through a skylight, and a woman who had tickets to the Great White show the night of the fire in Rhode Island. (30:43)

Scot Haney was on the phone with some ideas for what makes a “successful” karaoke performance, and that might have lead to a brand new Chaz and AJ event. (43:28)

Jennifer Bimonte-Kelly, a grand daughter of Frank Pepe, was in studio with Chaz and AJ this morning to talk about their 100th anniversary. Jennifer was very moved by the positive stories the Tribe called in to share about Pepe’s. (50:04)

Pod Pick: Coyote Peterson

Pod Pick: Coyote Peterson

Chaz and AJ spoke with Coyote Peterson from “Brave Wilderness” about the worst stings he’s endured, and his answer was a bit surprising. The common yellowjacket, turned out to be his most painful experience after being stung more than 100 times in a span of just 10 seconds.

Wednesday, June 11: Kid Hailed as “Hero,” Speeding Stories with Sgt. Luke Davis, Ozempic Stories

Chaz and AJ were not about to let an 11-year-old kid be called a hero, after he made the news for calling 9-1-1 to help his elderly neighbor, who became trapped under her car. (0:00)

Sgt. Luke Davis with the Connecticut State Police joined Chaz and AJ in studio for Dumb Ass News, to talk about some creative speeding stories he’s heard. Plus, some “Forrest Gump” quotes to go with the 9-1-1 call from earlier. (13:27)

Chaz and AJ complained about speeding cameras now being set up in a Connecticut town, and took some calls from the Tribe about crazy drivers, and the speeding traps they’ve been caught in. (21:06)

Jason Page was in to talk sports, but an off-air conversation about Ozempic bled onto the air, with the Tribe chiming in about their successes and failures on similar treatments. (35:46)
