Teddy’s Story
Teddy was diagnosed with cancer at eight months old during COVID. His wish is to have a racetrack in his backyard!
Teddy’s favorite animal is a giraffe and when inside he likes to have dance parties. Most of all, Teddy loves hot wheels and all other forms of transportation. When given the opportunity to have a wish granted it was easy for him to decide – he wished to have a racetrack in his backyard.
Chaz and AJ started Dumb Ass News at 7:20 with a news report about a naked man in Florida, who was arrested after trying to break into someone’s house with a knife. The follow-up at 9:20 was the bodycam footage from the arresting officer.

The Jam at the Dam is happening over two days in July, with Steelheart, FireHouse and Warrant starting the party day 1. Bill Leverty, the guitarist for FireHouse, was on with Chaz and AJ this morning to talk about writing “Don’t Treat Me Bad,” and the what touring is like now that they have a 24-year-old lead singer. Chaz and AJ welcomed 5-year-old Teddy in studio this morning, along with his mom and dad, Cara and Craig. While he’s recovered and is in remission for hepatoblastoma, Teddy very recently was old enough to qualify for his Make A Wish, which he immediately knew would be a racetrack in his back yard.

Two people were rescued from Long Island Sound, after a plane went down over the weekend. Chaz and AJ spoke with Danny Coughlin, Assistant Chief with the New Haven Fire Dept., about the rescue efforts between his department, the Branford FD and the Coast Guard. (14:43)
