Throwback Concert: Queen at Waterbury Palace Theater 1975

99.1 PLR celebrates 50 years! This week we are celebrating another great year in our history: 1975!

That year PLR welcomed Queen to Waterbury’s Palace Theater on Valentine’s Day 1975. It was Queen’s “Sheer heart Attack Tour” and their first ever world tour. They hit the road in ’75 to their third studio album “Sheer Heart Attack,” which featured the major hit Killer Queen.

Joining them on the tour were special guest Mahogany Rush.
