A summertime tradition is back once again! Every year The Milford Oyster Festival, sponsored by XFINITY, gets bigger and better with lots of great live music, food, games, and fun for everyone!
The Festival kicks off on Friday August 16th with “Oyster Eve” at Fowler Field from 6-10pm. Then on Saturday August 17th its the 50th Annual Milford Oyster Festival all across Downtown Milford. The festivities start at 10am and goes until 6pm. Admission is FREE!
Visit the 99.1 PLR Tent on Saturday at Fowler Field, behind the Milford Library. We’ll have games and giveaways plus you’ll get to say hello to all your favorite 99.1 PLR personalities! We’ll be hanging out with our friends from AARP Connecticut and ELC Energy Solutions.
Come out and enjoy live entertainment, arts & crafts, a classic car show and fun oyster competitions.
This year’s headlining musical acts are Little Feat, Jason Scheff (longtime lead vocalist of Chicago) and Tommy DeCarlo (former lead singer of Boston), and Living Colour!
And don’t forget about the FOOD! Enjoy some of the best food venders around. It’s no wonder why National Geographic voted The Milford Oyster Festival the BEST Food Festival in Connecticut!
