Kim from Hamden called in to clear up some misinformation about gun safety on movie and TV sets. Chaz and AJ were discussing the horrible incident from an Alec Baldwin movie, Kim is experienced in weapon protocol on sets through her job in NYC, and called in to explain how it’s supposed to work. Last week, Chaz and AJ mentioned Dr. Dre had been served court papers while attending his grandmother’s funeral. Liz called in later to share a crazy story about the time she had to serve papers to a war criminal, while he was visiting NYC in the early ’90’s. (9:09)

Ray the ghost hunter was in studio with Chaz and AJ to share some audio of past investigations he’s done, and had a crazy story about getting stabbed in the back at his previous job. (16:33)

50 Years, 50 Albums 1978: The Cars ‘The Cars’

It is not often that your debut album also sounds like a greatest hits. The Cars are one of those bands thanks to the genius of Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr. These two Boston based musicians came up with a sound that would later would be called new wave. An album with six hits that eventually went 6x platinum and helped usher them into the ’80s where their sound would become one of the biggest.

PODCAST – Friday, October 22: The Week In Flubbles; Picking Phil’s Monsters Ball Costume; Weird Food Delivery Stories

The week in Flubbles! AJ described his performance this week as “moderate,” but the montage from this week seems to indicate that he undershot a little. (0:00)

Phil has not yet chosen a costume for Halloween, so Chaz and AJ asked the Tribe to call in their suggestions before next week’s Legends of Fear Monsters Ball. (5:51)

The topic of personal grooming came up, and Jennifer called to rat out Chaz on his habit of collecting the trimmings in a towel, then leaving it in the closet for days. (20:36)
