Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin got a lot of attention on Twitter last night, for putting Hartford up as a potential site for a professional hockey team. It was announced this week that the Coyotes will be homeless, after the arena in Glendale, Arizona will not be renewing the contract with the team following this season. Is Hartford ready for hockey again? Plus, comedian Alyssa Goggi catches up on a lot that’s happened since her last visit to the studio. (15:41)

Dumb Ass News – There have been some viral videos recently of unruly passengers on airplanes getting duct-taped to their chairs by fed up flight attendants. Chaz and AJ uncovered a “news interview” with one of the attendants. (7:07) 

Fairfield Police Captain Keith Broderick was on the phone to talk about the weekend’s dunk tank activities, all to raise money for their scholarship fund through the police department. (15:06) 

Captain Bobby was on to give (some) tips about catching bluefish. The Greatest Bluefish Tournament on Earth is happening Aug. 28th and 29th, and Bobby has finished in the Top 10 the last few years. (23:36) 

Ann was on to explain how teachers like her are preparing for the upcoming school year. There’s been a lot of discussion about mask policies, and no virtual classrooms, so what are the teachers thinking? (33:29)

John Bezrouch, a retired military special forces veteran, was on to talk to Chaz and AJ about what’s happening in Afghanistan right now. The Taliban has essentially taken control of the country, and John is most concerned for the largest percentage of their population, people under the age of 16. 
 
Dumb Ass News – Quite possibly, the worst yodeler ever recorded. 
 
The crazy life of a private investigator. Kevin, a real private investigator, was in studio with Chaz and AJ to share stories about cheating spouses, and catching people lying about their disability claims. 
 
Lt. Ty O’Neill with the Riverton Volunteer Fire Dept. was on the phone with Chaz and AJ to talk about the memorial event for Colin McFadden. Colin, at only 26 years old, lost his life while fighting a massive fire last week with the Burlington Volunteer Fire Dept. There is a “wall of patches” in his memory in New Hartford. 
 

Eric with Big Dogs Axe Throwing called in to talk about his time with Chaz and AJ yesterday, after bringing the mobile axe throwing rig to the station parking lot. Eric also explained the important meaning behind the company name, and how they started a scholarship.
