Happy Birthday James Hetfield! The lead singer of Metallica turns 57 on August 3rd.
Today we look back at Metallica’s second-to-last show in Connecticut: 1997 at Hartford’s XL Center. Metallica would play at The XFINITY Theatre the following year in the summer of 1998, making that the last time the band performed here in our state.
