Throwback Concert: Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers at New Haven Coliseum 1995

For nearly 40 years Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers have been rockin’ Connecticut. From their first show here (at Shelton’s Pinecrest in 1980) to their final show (at The XFINITY Theatre in 2017) Tom and his band has entertained tens of thousands of fans across our state. Sadly we’ll never see another Tom Petty live concert again, but we are forever thankful to him and The Heartbreakers for all the great shows they’ve given us over the years.

Today we go back 25 years ago when Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers came to New Haven Coliseum on their “Dogs with Wings” 1995 Tour.

Ian Cunningham was on with Court Audio! It’s been a long time, and this file was recorded back in March, just before the courts closed. Domenique is a very fast talker. (35:16)

Throwback Concert: The Black Crowes at New Haven Coliseum 1995

Let’s face it, 2020 has been terrible. The Black Crowes were scheduled to bring its much anticipated “Shake Your Money Maker” tour to Connecticut this year, but due to Covid-19 the tour has been postponed to 2021. It’s just one of many shows we missed out on this year, but thankfully we’ll have an opportunity to (hopefully) see them next summer.

Today we go back 25 years ago when The Black Crowes came to New Haven Coliseum on its “Amorica or Bust” 1995 Tour.

Live Nation’s Jimmy Koplik officially announced the Lynyrd Skynyrd show for next summer, which he booked just because Governor Lamont asked for it.
